The Best Leveling Areas In Northrend

A good leveling guide, Alliance or Horde faction, will show you all the areas you are eligible for at your current level. You will probably notice that sometimes, you have several choices, especially in the first major parts of the game. If you used to choose them randomly or based your choices on criteria like how they look or what reputations you can get there, you were making the bad choices.

Even from the beginning, if you chose the wrong area to start leveling in, you will waste time. A lot of people prefer Elwynn Forest to begin their characters, no matter what race they are. That is because of a few things that this area has in addition or are different than others.

But I will cover that right after I tell you which are the best areas to level in Northrend. The first area is the Borean Tundra that starts at level 70 and ends at 72. An alternative to this is the Howling Fjord, but this is not as good as the Tundra. After that you have the Dragonblight for levels 72 to 74, Grizzly Hills for levels between 74 and 75, Zul'Drak for 75 to 77, Sholazar Basin for 77 to 78 and then you have the Icecrown for the last two levels, 78 to 80. An alternative to Icecrown is Storm Peaks, but this isn't as good as the first one and here is why.

Most areas that have other choices have certain particularities. The ones that I said are better, have flatter terrain, less aggro around the map and have better quests lines that are not very spread out. So you can do a lot more quests in less periods of time. The zones that I said are not very good, are exactly the opposite.

They have rocky terrain and a lot of annoying aggro that keeps you from completing quests. It's one thing to just fly in a straight line to your quest location, like in the more flat areas, and it's another thing to have to fly over mountains and also watch for aggro as you go towards a quest locations.

Some Benefits Of Playing Anime Games

Anime games have in the recent past come to be accepted as a global phenomenon. With their roots in Japan, they have grown in leaps and bounds to reach where they are today. Anime is derived from Manga, which refers to Japanese comic books. They are basically derived from comic books. Kids are especially fond of them as they bring their favorite cartoon characters to life.

There is a wide selection to choose from. Enthusiasts are usually spoilt for choice. Some of the most famous titles include: Dragonball Z, Doraemon Fishing, Naruto Invaders, Naruto battle groung among others.

Now that anime games have gone mainstream with titles such as Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon, and Street Fighter going the anime way, we should assess the advantages that they bring to the table.

Increase hand eye coordination
They are said to increase hand-eye coordination. The action packed nature of anime games such as Dragonball Z requires that this coordination be above average. Players usually develop very strong hand eye coordination after playing them over a long period of time. This skill can be very useful in sports.

Boosts your imagination
They are based on fictional characters that do the impossible. This usually helps kids develop their imagination and hence increase their problem solving skills.

Girly Titles
In the gaming world, girls are usually neglected. Anime games have brought some semblance of equality to this space. They have a wide selection of releases that are basically targeted at girls.

Adult titles
If you feel that the available ones are too childish for you, a plethora of adult naughty titles is available. They are however strictly meant for adults so you should not let your children play them.

Persistence
Most of them help cultivate persistence in players; as they move from one level to another, they get more and more challenging. This requires a high level of persistence to complete.

Interactivity
Compared to watching anime on TV, kids can control the fate of their favorite characters. This gets them thinking instead of idling at the TV.

Better Cognitive Skills
Cognitive health is greatly improved from playing anime. This is because players have to follow set rules, solve problems and make critical decisions. They provide good mental exercise that contributes to the well being of the person.

Reduces Bad Eating habits in kids
When kids are busy playing, their minds are so absorbed that they have no time to think about eating all the time. This therefore prevents obesity caused by too much snacking.

Alliance Leveling Spots in Cataclysm

Cataclysm has brought a ton of changes to the old Azeroth, including a few new Alliance leveling spots. And I'm not talking here about places where you can or should just kill some mobs as an Alliance player, I'm talking about brand new camps, that didn't exist before the release of the expansion.

I'm going to focus here especially on the new camps in Kalimdor because before Cataclysm, this continent wasn't exactly the best place to level up for Alliance players due to a higher concentration of Horde zones and camps. Nowadays, most of the zones here also have brand new Alliance leveling spots with plenty of quests, and here are a few that you shouldn't miss.

Fort Triumph, Southern Barrens. As you probably know it, The Barrens was a Horde territory before Cataclysm, but after that, it was split in two zones, Northern Barrens and Southern Barrens. The northern part is still pretty much a Horde zone, but the Southern Barrens is quite balanced now. Fort Triumph is one of the main Alliance camps here. Its location is (49,68). You'll find an innkeeper and a flight master here, and quite many quests to go through. Therefore, this is one of the Alliance leveling spots that you should put into your leveling path.

Tower of Estulan, Feralas. Back in the day, before Cataclysm, Feralas was quite a harsh zone to choose as leveling destination for Alliance. You had to travel on foot for long distances and the only camps were Thalanaar and Feathermoon, on the eastern and western points of the zone. Now there are plenty of other Alliance camps in Feralas, like Shadebough, Dreamer's Rest or Tower of Estulan, and quite a few new flight masters, which makes it a viable zone for leveling. The most important camp is obviously, Tower of Estulan because it's placed in the middle of the zone, at (57,55). Having this travel point unlocked, you will benefit from almost equal access to the other parts of the zone, and therefore keep a higher XP rate.

Kranum's Glade, Desolace. This is a neutral camp, but it wasn't here before Cataclysm, so I should mention it in this post. It is one of the main quest hubs of Desolace, also placed in the middle of the zones. Even if Horde players can quest here, you can still consider it as one of the Alliance leveling spots. So, if you're going to choose Desolace as your leveling destination, Kranum's Glade most definitely has to be in your leveling path, because there are many quests here. Plus, you will also get Cenarion Circle reputation by completing quests here, which you might find useful later on.

Online Game Makers Eagerly Await the Results of Primaries

n 2004, amidst the bombardment of political news stories, journalists were jubilant to report on JibJab, a small digital entertainment company and their presidential election animation "This Land." The video, a kind of stop animation using cut-outs of both George W. Bush and John Kerry, had the two presidential contenders jumping and moving around while singing a parody of the standard, "This Land is Your Land." The satirical duet had the two politicians melodically calling each other out on some of the lighter gripes America had with both of them. It was a eureka moment for the press, who always try to find "the lighter side" of politics. It was monumental for JibJab who had now staked their claim in the land of online political parody.

The 2008 election for president saw a rush of wannabe content providers attempting to get reported as "the lighter side." Many online Flash developers came up with games to parody or protest the candidates. The games capitalized on the angst and frustration during the media force-feeding of political stories. One game, Election Smackdown 2008, literally had the gamer smacking the various White House players. The game required very little strategy to play, yet players returned to get their fill. It just became fun to smack them all and not worry about the score.

A less violent 2008 game, Battleground States 2008, gamified the Electoral College and had its gamers trying to win over delegates and convert as many states to red or blue (other parties were represented in the game also.) Delegates were spread across a map much like the armies in Risk. Simulated die rolls at the end of the turns determined if the delegates were successful. This battlefield concept will most-likely be resurrected in the coming 2012 race.

How About The Puzzle Game?

Puzzle game is one of the pastime sports that most people think is very easy to play. However, it requires so much critical thinking that those who have played it can confirm that it truly entails a lot of logical skills for one to be able to successfully play it. Apart from just the fun that players are able to get from playing, there is much more that one stands to learn. For instance, it offers various benefits to the players, most education experts have thus recommended them to children as a source of better mental exercise. In fact, currently, most education systems have adapted it as means of mental exercise in their curriculum. However, this does not mean that it is only meant for children, adults too are encouraged to take part in playing it. This game is one of the surest ways of boosting work efficiency in adults.

A puzzle game has so much to do with problem solving, which is one of the greatest features of mathematics. The problem solving aspect in this pastime sport is carried out through four basic operations that are all associated to mathematics, such as subtraction, addition, multiplication and even division. For anyone to be able to successfully play any version of this game, he or she needs to have a few basic mathematical skills. Playing the game requires innovative solutions for every movement. Players should understand that in playing puzzles, there are no pre-recorded or profound solutions and everyone needs to invent their own ways of making moves.

Composition of the game
It involves much of arithmetic and simple calculus. Learning it is quite easy and does not require so much effort apart from just critical thinking. In arithmetic puzzle, that is one of the famous forms, the solution is wholly dependent on the proper use of optimal methods. However, getting the optimal methods is one the tasks that lies ahead of the players and the basis of playing. There are also algebraic types that require algebraic playing methods and theorems for the players to be able to come up with solutions. For great fun in playing any of the types, modern algebra and Boolean algebra is also included.

How The SWTOR Sniper Guide?

One of the advanced classes of the Imperial agent characters that you can play in Star Wars: The Old Republic is the SWTOR sniper. As the name suggests, these units use long rifles and recon to eliminate enemies. You would also think that because the SWTOR sniper is a Sith agent that they work best in legions of troops. In fact, the sniper is best for one-on-one confrontations and undertaking covert operations using stealth and cunning, which is in stark contrast to other Sith agents. We'll take a look at some of the abilities that the sniper has got to offer below.

The SWTOR sniper has 3 skill trees and they are:

Marksmanship: This teaches the sniper to take down targets from long range and to strike enemies while in cover

Engineering: This allows the sniper's probes and droids to weaken enemy units

Lethality: This is a shared skill tree with the Operative advanced class and utilizes toxins and poisons to do damage to enemies over time

Some of the abilities that you can learn when you choose to specialize as the SWTOR sniper are:

Ambush: This ability deals a large amount of damage, but only when you're in cover

Portable cover: This ability deploys a shield when you have no cover

Leg shot: This skill immobilizes a target. If the target is damaged after 2 seconds, the stun effect will be neutralized

Entrench: This ability entrenches you into cover and you will become immune to any controlling effects. You must be in cover to use this ability and Entrench will end if you exit cover too early. This ability lasts 20 seconds

Cover Pulse: This skill detonates an emergency pulse that knocks back all nearby targets by a distance and stuns them for 5 seconds. If the target is damaged after 2 seconds, the stun effect will be neutralized

Takedown: This ability attempts to destroy a target at range and is only useable when the target is at or below 30% health

What I Have Learned From WoW Alliance Guides?

Have you ever thought of using an Alliance or Horde guide for World of Warcraft? I haven't either, until I wanted to level up my third Alliance character, and the leveling and gearing process took too much of my time and consumed all my gold. That's when I started looking at some of the WoW Alliance guides on the web.

A friend of mine let me use his Alliance gold guide, and since that particular guide was quite consistent, that made me get a leveling guide myself. So this is what I've learned by using these WoW Alliance guides.

1. I have learned that a player-made, in-game leveling guide is much better than the one World of Warcraft has. The WoW quest helper isn't bad, but the information that it provides is a bit ambiguous, and if the quests are tricky, you may waste a lot of time trying to figure out what to do. A player-made leveling guide tells you exactly what to do, where you find your next objective or quest item, groups up the quests for you and a lot more, which helps you maintain a high experience rate all the time.

2. I have learned how to correct my gameplay strategy to save time or to increase my XP rate. For example, it made me realize that going to the Auction House every 2-3 levels to change gear is a waste of time. Also, it's not worth interrupting your questing session every 2 levels to go to train, especially at low levels.

3. I have learned how to make enough gold for the flying skills without farming. That's actually a no brainer. All you have to do is not spend any money from your quests on gear or skilling up expensive crafts, like engineering or blacksmithing. You won't believe how much gold you can gather on one character only from level 1 to 70, just by saving any penny from quests, and by selling the unwanted quest rewards.

4. Using one of the best WoW Alliance guides for making gold, the one that my friend let me use, I've learned quite a few nice Auction House money-making techniques that don't consume too much time. So, by the time I reached level 85, I had about 20k gold, enough to buy 4 epics which boosted my iLevel quite a bit, making me eligible for the Hour of Twilight heroics.

5. Lastly, I have learned how to level up a character from 1 to 85 in less than 4 days. In fact, my Alliance Paladin has reached level 85 after 3 days and 22 hours played.
